Dr. Alex Tucker joins Grundy County Memorial Hospital Emergency Department

Grundy County Memorial Hospital (GCMH) – UnityPoint Health is welcoming Dr. Alex Tucker to its Emergency Department. He is a board-certified emergency physician who joined the team this summer. 

He chose to practice at GCMH because he grew up in the rural Iowa community of Durant and has always desired to practice in a rural setting. He was impressed with the community and the associates of Grundy County Memorial Hospital and recognized it as a good fit for he and his family.

Dr. Tucker earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Iowa before completing his residency at the University of Missouri. Prior to arriving at GCMH he worked in the Emergency Department at Genesis Health System in Davenport.
