Gala & Auction
Community members look forward to a fun and festive GCMH Foundation fundraiser the first Saturday of each February, when the Gala & Auction takes center stage at the Grundy Community Center in Grundy Center.
The 2025 event is Saturday evening, February 1, when guests are invited to join the Foundation "Under the Sea". You will experience an enchanting undersea world while enjoying fine dining, a lively Dessert Auction, and Live and Silent Auctions featuring more than sixty auction packages. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with program and dinner following, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The winner of the Foundation's annual "Winner's Choice Raffle", sponsored by INVISION Architecture and Facets, will be drawn at the event. To purchase your chance to win your choice of four vacation destinations, Costa Rica, Hawaii, one of 5 European cities, or Maine, contact the Foundation at 319-824-4172. Tickets are $50 each and just 200 will be sold - however, sales must take place in-person rather than online due to state law.
