Recognition for Dedicated Care

Patients are at the center of everything we do at Grundy County Memorial Hospital. Evidence of our teams' efforts come from the heartfelt "thank-yous" and appreciation received from patients and their family members as well as through national recognition for quality, safe care and patient experience. The hospital has received national recognition for patient experience and satisfaction annually since 2009. GCMH has also achieved Top 100 Critical Access Hospital status for 2024, which is the fourth consecutive year of recognition for attributes of a top CAH, such as care quality, financial stability, and patient reviews.  

2023	NRC- Excellence in Patient Experience- Critical Access Hospital	GCMH was selected as the one Critical Access facility based on its combined real-time NPS and HCAHPS score for the "Would Recommend Facility" question, out of 61 eligible facilities.
2023	National Top Workplaces for Healthcare	GCMH ranked 20th out of 111 healthcare companies in the category of companies with less than 500 employees.
